Our Philosophy

By embracing an educational philosophy that acknowledges our indigenous perspective, Kūlaniākea focuses on its broader vision of multilingualism, multiculturalism, educational excellence, and emphasis on whole-child development.

Kūlaniākea is an ʻohana where keiki and extended ʻohana are engaged, valued and loved. Part of Kūlaniākea’s kuleana (responsibility) is nurturing the spiritual, cultural, intellectual, social, emotional, and character development of our keiki.
