Her journey from Kahiki (Tahiti) is documented in traditional oli (chants) and mele (songs). Pele’s power to destroy and beauty to create, makes her both admired and revered. With this nane ʻāpana (puzzle), we hope to build your keiki’s interest in lua pele (volcano) and grow a new appreciation for this geological phenomenon.
